Can the same strain of a stomach virus cause different symptoms? ?
I had a stomach virus two days before Christmas, with diarrhea, vomiting, the works. Then I went to my parent’s house on Christmas and tried my best to keep my family from getting it, but my mom and sisters got sick this week after my visit, only they don’t have diarrhea, only vomiting. Is it possible for them to show different symptoms than I did, or is this a different strain? (Although I don’t know where they could have gotten it, no one else in our family has been sick)

Yes, I’ve had the same thing since Christmas. Mine includes dizziness when I bend over, queasy, burning tummy and semi diarrhea.

Yes, the same thing can have different symptoms. I’ve had this lovely bug twice in 6 weeks. First one was vomitting,aches,severe runs,severe headache. Second one, severe stomach cramps,shakes, vomiting.
