Can the same stomach virus manifest itself with with different symptoms for different family members?
My son got a stomach virus that included vomiting. Within a few hours, I started getting cramping and frequency of bowel actiity. Not really diarrhea, just cramping and alot of trips. The cramps are still pretty bad and this is day 3.Did I catch this virus from my 12 year old? He got better in one day, but here I am on day three and unable to sleep because of the cramps.

This is normal. It happens often. It is possible to manifest differently.

yes, we each have different amounts and types of antibodies. We respond differently. but many diseases have similar signs and symptoms.
